RANDY KLASSEN
PARTNERA west coast homebuilder through and through, Randy began his career in Real Estate Development early as a framer trained in various construction fundamentals and codes at BCIT. Subsequently, he ventured on his own, heading up his own framing company and was then quickly recruited by a large development company to become a successful Site Superintendent. . After joining with his two partners, the plan to build homes under the moniker of Gramercy was born. From scheduling the various trades people on building sites, to overall site management and planning, Randy knows every Gramercy building project down to the studs….literally.
DAPHNE LUKING-KLASSEN
PARTNERInnovation and design have always played a part in Daphne’s life. Earning a Bachelor of Communications degree from Trinity Western University and dabbling in graphic design, Daphne believes in creating integrity, authenticity and honesty in every piece of communication or organizational effort to cross her desk. After spending several years as a Realtor it was only natural that she combine her families real estate development background with her inclination for the business of home building. Today, Daphne manages matters relating to vision and concept collaboration, project management as well as site design and marketing.
STEPHAN LUKING
PARTNERA third generation property developer, Stephan has been surrounded by the sites and sounds of construction his whole life. This undoubtedly contributed to his affinity for the construction industry and his extensive understanding of the inner workings of real estate development. Formally trained at the University of Waterloo in the Civil Engineering Co-operative program, Stephan’s experience spans many degrees of the building process beginning with framing and site management to handling city processes, daily operations and financial management to name a few. Stephan has managed or built over 1,100 homes including a 96 unit townhouse complex which won a 1999 gold Georgie award for Best Residential Complex in BC.
OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2005, Gramercy is a second-generation development company. Part of a family group with 45 years of experience in building quality homes and neighbourhoods all over the Lower Mainland, the Gramercy team eventually decided it was time to find their own path — a path where communities and homes were designed with creative and practical purpose; every learning experience would be squeezed out of completed projects and combined with the needs of the next; and with no templated designs and endless repetition, just thoughtful, progressive homes.

After growing up in family of property developers, each Gramercy team member has enjoyed an inside peek into what really makes a builder successful in their client’s eyes.
